Frequently Asked Questions...

Bullet Point   What file type do your images originate from?

ISO 50 Photo FAQ

What file type do your images originate from?

Answer:
Almost all of the images are photographed with a Pentax 67II medium format camera. There are only a few shot on 35mm, and you can identify those images based on the fact that 35mm print sizes only go up to 16"x24".

All of the images were taken on Fuji Velvia 50 slide film. The images are then scanned on a Nikon 9000ED at 16 bit depth and 4000 dpi.

Bullet Point   How are your images printed?

ISO 50 Photo FAQ

How are your images printed?

Answer:
All of the images are printed using an Epson giclee inkjet printer with genuine Epson ink and paper that are certified archival. The photographs are printed on an Epson premium luster (equivalent to semi-matte) photo paper.

The canvases are printed on an Epson premium satin canvas (equivalent to semi-matte). The canvases are then hand stretched on a wood frame with a 1.5" depth. The canvases are ready to hang without any additional framing (unless desired).

Bullet Point   Some of the colors in your images appear like they were manipulated?

ISO 50 Photo FAQ

Some of the colors in your images appear like they were manipulated?

Answer:
All images are color corrected to accurately reproduce the actual negative. I do not believe in digital manipulation to intensify, change or enhance colors that did not exist at the moment of exposure. I also do not use any color or warming filters to change the color at the time of exposure.
